WINGS WIN AGAIN!

The Wings took down the Penguins 4–1 tonight in their rematch at the East Hants Sportsplex — that’s two road wins in a row for this crew! The team is clicking like a well-oiled machine, with strong defense, smart plays, and tons of energy.

Big shoutout to rookie James Smith, who picked up Player of the Game for his stellar performance! Coming to Cole Harbour from the west coast of BC, James has already proven to be a huge addition to the Wings lineup.

Next up — our home opener tomorrow night (Mon, Oct 20th) at 7:30pm in Scotia 2 vs the TASA Black Ducks. Let’s pack the stands, get loud, and keep the streak rolling!

Wings Soar to Opening Day Victory on the Road

The U13 B Cole Harbour Wings kicked off their regular season in style this afternoon at the Spryfield Lions Rink, skating away with a hard-fought win over the Chebucto team in what can only be described as a statement game.

Chebucto came out flying early, setting the tone late in the first with some solid puck movement and pressure in the Wings’ end. But it didn’t take long for Cole Harbour to find their groove. Once they settled in, the Wings looked like a team that’s been playing together for years—moving the puck clean, supporting each other in every zone, and showing serious chemistry for game one of the season.

Today’s Player of the Game, proudly sponsored by All Star Energy, goes to #2 Cooper Norris, who put on a show with some clutch plays and the game-winning goal to seal the deal for the Wings. Norris’ effort and hustle were unmatched from puck drop to the final buzzer.

Next up, the Wings stay on the road and head to Lantz, where they’ll face off against the East Hants Penguins tomorrow night at 7:00 PM at the East Hants Sportsplex. The last time these two teams met, the scoreboard stayed empty on both sides—but you can bet the Wings will be looking to change that and light the lamp this time around.

The Wings are rolling—let’s keep the momentum going!
