September 12 - 9:30-10:30am (OFF ICE) 11:00-1:00pm (ON ICE) 

September 13 - 4:00pm - 6:00pm (ON-ICE) 

• Players must bring full hockey gear.

• There will be a short break between sessions for snacks/discussion.

A Checking Clinic is mandatory for any player entering a checking level (U15 AA/A or U18 AA/A checking levels) for the first time. Proof of completion is recorded in your Hockey Canada Registration profile. Players who do not complete the clinic are ineligible for the Cole Harbour Team Selection Process for rep teams with body contact.

Important Notes

• This is a one-time certification. If you were certified last season, played at a checking level, or are already certified, you do not need to retake the course.

• At family discretion: If your player certified last season but did not play checking hockey, you may choose to retake the course.

• If you cannot attend this session, it is your responsibility to register with another Minor Hockey Association offering the clinic. You will not be permitted to attend tryouts until proof of completion is provided.

• Goalies are not required to take the course.
