2026 Conditioning Camps

Conditioning Camp Information

Conditioning Camps are available for U9, U11, U13, U15 and U18 divisions.

Registration Deadline: August 23, 2026

Late registrations may be accepted at the discretion of the Registrar and will be subject to a $25 late registration fee.

Registration Policies

Registration must be completed by the deadline to allow sufficient time to finalize ice schedules, organize groups and post camp information before Conditioning Camps begin.

  • Payment is due at the time of registration.
  • No Pay – No Play. Players whose registration has not been paid in full before their first scheduled ice time will not be permitted to participate.
  • Players with outstanding registration fees from previous seasons are considered Members Not in Good Standing.
  • HCR 3.0 automatically blocks registration for Members Not in Good Standing. The block will be removed once all outstanding fees have been paid in full.

Schedules & Groups

Please use the 2026 Conditioning Camps menu selection above to access schedules and grouping information for each age division.

Schedules and groups will be posted as they are finalized.

U13 AAA Conditioning Camp

The U13 AAA Team Selection Process is separate from the U13 AA-A-B Team Selection Process.

Players wishing to try out for U13 AAA must select the U13 AAA registration option. Registration for U13 AAA Tryouts is required to participate in the U13 AAA Conditioning Camp.

Players who do not intend to try out for U13 AAA but wish to compete for U13 AA-A-B should select the U13 AA-A-B Conditioning Camp option.

What to Expect

Number of Sessions

  • U9: 5 sessions
  • U11, U13, U15 & U18: 5 sessions
  • U13 AAA: 4 sessions
  • Goalies: Register for your appropriate division. Additional goalie-specific Conditioning Camp sessions will be provided at no additional cost.

Conditioning Camp groups will be created using a combination of birth year and previous level played, except for U13 AAA. This allows us to place players in appropriate development environments while following Hockey Canada Long-Term Player Development principles.

Conditioning Camps are not evaluations. No player evaluations, rankings or selection notes will be completed during these sessions.

Practice plans will be predetermined to improve flow, consistency and efficiency. The emphasis will be on easy-to-understand drills, high repetition and preparing players for the upcoming season.

Each session will generally include a short warm-up, 10–15 minutes of high-tempo skating, followed by skill stations and drills designed for both forwards and defence. Appropriate water and hydration breaks will be provided.

Registered goalies will receive goalie-specific warm-up and development opportunities designed with our Goalie Development program.

Camp Focus

Sessions will include:

  • Return to Basics — skating, endurance and puck control
  • Skating & Puck Control
  • Goal Scoring, Shooting & Passing
  • Battles & Compete Drills
  • Small Area Games
  • Preview and run-through of drills that will be used during the Team Selection/Tryout Process

For applicable U15 and U18 sessions, Conditioning Camp drills will be non-contact.

Our goal is simple: give players an opportunity to get back on the ice, get their legs underneath them, sharpen their skills and become familiar with the types of drills they may see during Team Selections.
