Information for U11 - U18

  • The Rec League season is scheduled to begin on October 25th (note: not all teams will start on this exact date)
  • A mandatory head coach meeting will be held on the evening of October 18th for all selected head coaches.

 

Evaluation Format

Each division will have three evaluation sessions:

Session 1: Group 1 – Players with last names A–M and all goalies. Group 1 will attend the first scheduled ice time.

Session 2: Group 2 – Players with last names N–Z and all goalies. Group 2 will attend the second scheduled ice time.

Session 3: Full-Squad Scrimmage – All players together, with referees and timekeepers.

  • Sun, Oct 12 - 11:30am-12:30pm @ Shearwater
  • Thu, Oct 16 - 5:00-6:00pm @ Scotia 1
  • Sat, Oct 18 - 3:30-4:30pm @ Scotia 2
U13
  • Sun, Oct 12 - 12:30-1:30pm @ Shearwater
  • Wed, Oct 15 - 5:30-6:30pm @ Scotia 2
  • Sat, Oct 18 - 4:30-5:30pm @ Scotia 2
U15
  • Sun, Oct 12 - 1:30-2:30pm @ Shearwater

U18
  • Sun, Oct 12 - 2:30-3:30pm @ Shearwater

  • Tue, Oct 14 - 9:30-10:30pm @ Scotia 1 (Note: ice is available until 11:00pm if the group wishes to extend)

 

** Team rosters will be finalized and posted by October 19th–20th. 

Player Requests

  • Player placement requests (e.g., “Timmy and Bob want to play together”) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Both players’ guardians must email separately to confirm the request.

Example: Tim’s parents email saying “We’d like Tim to play with Bob.” This would not be enough. We also need Bob’s parents email saying “We’d like Bob to play with Tim.”
Deadline for player requests: October 15th. 

 

Coaching Selection

  • Head coaches will be notified of their selection by October 3rd.
