Central Minor Playoff/Provincial Qualifying Games
The playoffs for the Central Minor Hockey League (CMHL) have started. Rink clocks are enforced for all games if facilities use them. The exception to this rule is during elimination games when a winner is required. There are no timeouts permitted in regular season and CMHL playoff (provincial) round robin games. The label of 'Provincial Qualifying' on the CMHL game does not make the game an official Hockey Nova Scotia provincial qualifying game. These are league games that determine the representatives for the Hockey Nova Scotia Day of Champions/Provincial qualifiers.
