Attention Coaches: Team Budgets for 2012-13 Due |

All coaches are reminded that team year-end budgets were due April 30th. In keeping with our not for profit status, HNS membership, and accountability to our members and community, we are required to review all team budgets subject to our guidelines.
The CHBA executive require all budgets be completed and returned to our fundraising coordinator immediately.
Coaches: It is CHBA policy that no applications for positions in the following year will be accepted or considered if the budget is outstanding from the past season.

CHBA Coach Evaluations: To be completed online by May 31st |

Parents and Players, the coach evaluation process is the same as last year, it is still an online survey! We are hoping that this will attract more feedback from all, and allow for easier analysis of results. We recommend that parents do this together with their player at appropriate ages. The time to take the survey could be as little as 2 minutes, as there is only about 12 questions. Your comments are what is most valuable, and although it takes a bit more time, I think we can agree it is the least we can do for the coaches who have already put in lots of their time.
We are looking to only receive one survey per player on the team. Survey results will be given to the coaches. At the end of the survey you have the opportunity to add your name or leave it blank. Your name will not be shared with the coaches unless you want it to be and will only go to the respective coordinators. We do recommend leaving your name and email address as it does make your survey much more valid.
We will be deleting any surveys that are felt to be attacking or of no value.
The survey will only be available online until May 31st, so please complete it as soon as possible!!

Trenholm Invited to Brick Tournament! |

CHBAMHA would like to congratulate Connor Trenholm, who has been asked to play for Team Pennsylvania 2003 at The Brick Invitational Super Novice Hockey Tournament in Edmonton during the first week of July! Connor and his family were approached by Mike Chiasson, a former CHBA Wing who is now Manager of Youth Hockey Programs for the Pittsburgh Penguins, some time ago about the potential opportunity and after a lengthy remote tryout process, Connor was offered a spot on the final roster this week!

The PWAA Wings played Dartmouth for the CMHF title and came up with a great team effort to defeat Dartmouth 6-4. THe team competed well putting together three solid periods of disciplined and patient team play to bring home the championship. Congrats PWAA Wings!

The Cole Harbour Atom Colts emerged victorious during the Joe Lamontagne tournament going 6-0 enroute to winning the Atom Rec division. The team compiled a very respectable 38-11-2 record this year. Among their other accomplishments were a silver medal in the top Lakes Division of the DWRHL and League Champs of the DWRHL going 20-3-2 during the regular season.
